Manufacturing Engineer needed with 5
years experience in manufacturing process engineering and lean manufacturing and BS in Engineering or equivalent. You will identify, design and implement improvements to equipment and processes. You will optimize manufacturing processes and provide sustainable gains in product quality, process yield, and efficiency by utilizing statistical analysis, design of experiments, and daily process troubleshooting. Responsibilities for the Process Engineer
Coordinate with suppliers and quality control on raw materials issues. Execute protocols and continuous improvement support for production initiatives and prepare documentation related to procedures, training, work instructions, validations, etc.
Daily troubleshooting and correction of issues related to the support of the overall manufacturing process.
Duties encompass execution of various protocols and qualifications. Leads and manages projects to accomplish measureable business objectives utilizing Six Sigma, SOP's, 5S, Kaizen, and other lean manufacturing principles.
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Requirements for the Process Engineer
5
years experience with manufacturing process engineering and lean manufacturing. Experience with continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. BS in Engineering or equivalent
Technical knowledge and experience in metal coating processes and coil coating expertise is a plus.
Experience with a continuous manufacturing environment
Works well with people and excellent problem solver.
