Responsibilities:
Industry leader in the manufacturing of specialty chemicals is seeking a RELIABILITY ENGINEER in support of their operations near Helena, AR.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is accountable for equipment reliability and maintenance strategy of equipment.
The RELIABILITY ENGINEER will help lead and support studies to improve reliability and cost structure through optimization of maintenance plans and practices while acting as mentor to maintenance personnel.
Other functions and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Engineering design and plant operations support utilizing Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies, conditioned-based maintenance techniques and monitoring, and good engineering practices.
Analyze failure mechanisms and failure trends.
Implement tools to monitor asset conditions and anticipate failures.
Calculation of Reliability Centered Maintenance KPI's (MTBF, MTTR).
Identify and manage asset reliability risks, identify critical spare parts.
Initiate and document PM programs.
Provide technical support to Maintenance Technicians.
Identify technical training needs and coordinate training programs.
Implement corporate Mechanical Integrity program at site.
Provide reliability and maintainability perspective during new equipment design phase.
Evaluate and generate design alternatives to help arrive at optimal choices.
Develop solutions to repetitive failures and other plant operations issues.
Ensure engineering designs meet codes, regulatory requirements, and client standards.
Implement Process Safety Management elements at site.
Contribute on larger CAPEX projects.
Develop, plan, and coordinate projects from inception through completion.
Participate in EHS initiatives.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree in Engineering required.
Mechanical or Reliability Engineer preferred.
2-3 years' experience in Chemical Manufacturing/Processing environment required.
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) preferred.
Proficient in problem solving techniques including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
Knowledge of Asset Management and Reliability Centered Maintenance practices.
Capital project development, execution, and field implementation.
Knowledge of CMMS programs (Maximo).
Minimum travel required.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, management, and vendors.

Citizen or Green Card holder.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project.
Salary Range:
$85k - $110k Bonus:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
